Behind them, Cruz Azul and Tigres UANL both finished on 30 points, guaranteeing their direct passage to the next phase. The play-in round will feature Guadalajara (28 points), Atlético San Luis (27), Pumas UNAM (26), and Pachuca (25).
The playoffs begin on Thursday, May 28, with the play-in matches. The quarterfinals are scheduled to start on Sunday, May 31. All matches will follow a two-legged home-and-away format, with the higher-seeded team hosting the decisive second leg. The grand final is provisionally set for June 7 and June 10.
