Lucas Zelarayán was born on June 20, 1992, in Córdoba, Argentina. He plays as an attacking midfielder and is known for his precise passing, strong shooting, and excellent set-piece delivery.
Zelarayán began his professional career with Belgrano, where he made over 100 appearances. In 2015, he joined Tigres UANL in Mexico. With Tigres, he won multiple trophies, including the Liga MX Apertura and Clausura titles.
In 2020, Zelarayán moved to Major League Soccer, signing with Columbus Crew. He quickly became a key player, helping the Crew win the MLS Cup in his first season. He also scored the winning goal in the 2020 Eastern Conference Final and was named the MLS Cup MVP.
