Belarus U20 vs Team SHL on 14 May
The match between Cerro Largo and Danubio, corresponding to the Apertura tournament, ended in a 1–1 draw. This result kept both teams in the middle of the overall standings (total).
During the first half, the home side controlled possession and created several scoring chances. However, it was Danubio who opened the scoring in the 35th minute through a counterattack. Cerro Largo responded immediately before the break, leveling the match with a header from a corner kick.
In the second half, the pace slowed down. Both coaches made substitutions to refresh their squads, but neither team managed to find the winning goal. The draw means Cerro Largo remains five points behind the playoff places, while Danubio stays just above the relegation zone.
Looking ahead, both sides will need to improve their consistency if they want to fight for a spot in the Clausura or the season-ending playoffs.
